Life IS too short, whether it’s a cannoli, cupcake, whole cake or pint of ice cream if you want to, let yourself just enjoy it guilt-free, at least every now and then…
…because life is so short don’t just eat the treats, take time to celebrate with those treats and the ones you love. Memories are our only window to what once was when it is gone and since life is too short I believe that…
“Memories shouldn’t just be made, they should DAZZLE!”

The Dazzling Domestic Dreamer
Here’s a little backstory to my Dazzling events:
For almost 17 years I have been planning parties for my children and others in my life, from baby shower’s to birthday parties, baptisms, holiday-themed parties, weddings, bridal shower’s, clambakes, luau’s, retirement parties, family reunions, charity events, sports celebrations, gender reveals and many more! For just as many years, I have been told things like, “Wow, you really cover EVERY detail! You should do this for a living!” or “You are so creative, you should totally do this as a business” and I always modestly laugh and say some sort of cordial thank you but it’s not a business opportunity I have ever really felt confident about trying to begin until now. Let me explain…
In an effort to keep my blog authentic & honest I will share that in the past I have been in my own head with negative talk about my potential within the event planning world (among other areas of my life also, it is a constant struggle to stay ahead of it). I don’t take a traditional approach to party planning. My love language is most certainly Acts of Service so when planning a celebration I traditionally go the extra mile. I really do take steps the average person doesn’t feel capable of achieving let alone considers achieving. Therefore I have allowed Satan to instill large doses of self-doubt into my head and my abilities to assist others in planning events that DAZZLE. I have simply stuck with utilizing my skills for just my personal bubble of people and immediate family to serve my love to them in the form of celebrations. I have finally managed to get out of my own way and after prayerful communication with God and careful consideration to my existing obligations and I have decided to let my God-given gifts help others create memorable events for their family, friends and immediate loved ones to celebrate their life and milestones a little “Extra” like me. I do always say,
“I’m all kinds of EXTRA!”

This can be anything from me assisting in creating a party style & manageable plan for the client to execute themselves on party day, or it could be me being the one to not only research & design a party style but also to execute the production and set up of the event itself, being present to handle all the details behind the scenes allowing the client the privilege of being present making memories while their event still dazzles!
